The Andersonville National Historic Site was one of the largest Confederate military prisons during the Civil War. During the 14 months the prison existed, more than 45,000 Union soldiers were confined here. Of these, almost 13,000 died here. Proceeds will be used to benefit Macon County Recreation and Friends of Andersonville. Registered by March 31st to receive a T-shirt and a Pac Bag filled with goodies. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each of 16 age groups. Fantastic door prizes!
