"Ask the Sports Injury Expert" category. They provide physical therapy at the Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Institute (ATARI), part
of the Piedmont Sports Medicine Complex. Getting injured is really a drag, and not being able to run is even worse. If you
need help getting your game back, give them a call!
- Robins Pacers
Running Club
- Our sister running club in Warner Robins. Membership in their
running club is free, and you can sign up on-line.
- Macon Galloway Group
- An official Galloway training program that follows the run/walk/run
method designed by Olympian Jeff Galloway. If you're looking for a
group to train for a marathon, half-marathon, 10K, or 5K, or just simply
someone to run with, this group is for you.
- Run Fit Sports
- Your local running store now has two locations, one in Macon at 4524 Forsyth and another in Warner Robins at 4025 Watson St. This is a great place to get
personal advice on which shoes are right for you. Bonus: Macon Tracks members get 10% off!
- Gary Cohen Running

expertise with others. You may have read some of the running articles he's posted on the Macon Tracks forum. Check out his website for more

- Ocmulgee Mountain Biking Association
- OMBA is a nonprofit organization consisting of dedicated local bike
enthusiasts working together to promote land access, trail construction
and maintenance, educational programs, and responsible racing and
recreational riding in Middle Georgia. This organization is a chapter of
the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA). Check their

biking events. These trails are great for running, too!
-

The club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of

flyers. It's super-convenient and you won't find better prices.
- Here's an easy-to-use mapping program that works better than any of the others I've tried. You can
go and see routes that other Macon area runners have plotted. The streets are clearly labeled and it's easy
to see possible options to expand your range. We all tend to get set in a certain routine, running the same route
day after day. A change of scenery is a great way to keep things interesting. This would also be an excellent tool
to check out running routes in new areas when you're traveling.
- Security Bank Cycling Team
- A roster and race schedule of Macon's own bike racing team.
- This is a newly discovered site that lets you enter your name and
magically gives you a list of races you've run and the results.
