DESCRIPTION:This event is a fundraiser for the Next Level Community Develop
 ment Center's (NLCDC) FREE after-school and summer program. Funds raised d
 uring the run/walk will be used in providing a high level of academic inst
 ruction\, youth development\, and college/career readiness activities to M
 iddle Georgia youth falling 150% below the national poverty level and at r
 isk of academic failure. The organization's mission is to educate\, enligh
 ten\, and empower youth and families to make healthy lifestyle choices.
