DESCRIPTION:This event is a fund raiser for the Next Level Community Develo
 pment Center's (NLCDC) FREE after-school and summer program. Funds raised 
 during the run/walk will used in providing a high level of academic instru
 ction\, youth development\, and college/career readiness activities to Mid
 dle Georgia youth falling 150% below the national poverty level and at ris
 k of academic failure. The organization's mission is to educate\, enlighte
 n\, and empower youth and families to make healthy lifestyle choices.
