DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Mercer University Cross Country team is proud to co-hos
 t the annual Julius Johnson/Middle Georgia State Collegiate Invitational a
 t the Georgia Premier Cross Country facility. For the first time in its hi
 story\, this event will host a community/alumni 5K race after the collegia
 te event. The 5k is open to all families\, spectators\, alumni\, and commu
 nity members who want to come and race on this participant-friendly course
  in Macon. Funds raised from this event will benefit the Mercer Cross Coun
 try program. This race is in tribute to Julius C. Johnson Jr.\, Mercer gra
 duating class of 1950 and member of the Track and Field team. Medals will 
 be presented to individual winners of each 10-year age group
