Mercer Julius Johnson Community/Alumni 5K

The Mercer University Cross Country team is proud to co-host the annual Julius Johnson/Middle Georgia State Collegiate Invitational at the Georgia Premier Cross Country facility. For the first time in its history, this event will host a community/alumni 5K race after the collegiate event. The 5k is open to all families, spectators, alumni, and community members who want to come and race on this participant-friendly course in Macon. Funds raised from this event will benefit the Mercer Cross Country program. This race is in tribute to Julius C. Johnson Jr., Mercer graduating class of 1950 and member of the Track and Field team. Medals will be presented to individual winners of each 10-year age group
