Macon, GA November 21, 2026
We are proud to announce the 4th annual Macon Music Half Marathon to be held on November 21, 2026. It will start and end in Carolyn Crayton Park (Central City Park). Following three successful years with runners from 26 states, we are thrilled to plan for an even better event in 2026. The course will take you by locations showing the musical heritage of Macon including the Grand Opera House, the Big House, Little Richard’s home, Capricorn Studios, Otis Redding Foundation, and Mercer’s McDuffie Center for Strings as well as other historic and cultural sites.
Attractions along the course are currently being planned. The course will be the same, starting in the Carolyn Crayton Park and ending in historic Luther Williams Field.

Important Notes
No pets, bikes, or skates will be allowed on the race course. We request that participants pushing baby joggers or strollers use extreme caution so as to avoid injury to passengers and to your fellow athletes.
Walkers are welcome. There is a 3.5-hour (16:00 min/mile) time limit for the course. Portions of the course will be closed and re-opened to traffic at pre-determined times. There is a 16 minute limit for completing each mile meaning that after that time the course is re-opened to vehicle traffic and you will need to move to the sidewalk to complete the race. Mile 1 will be re-opened at the 00:16:00 time of the race, mile 2 at 00:32:00, and so on.
